We are pleased to provide further details of the research stage of the advice process.
In completing our research, we will:
- Refer to the Sesame Research Department for current quantitative & qualitative analysis of products and services being considered.
- Refer to the current data (and opinion) of recognised industry sourcing publications & software.
- Refer more complex financial & tax planning issues to the appropriate Technical Service Teams made available to us by Sesame and the industry's leading life & investment companies.
- Refer issues considered outside of the scope of our expertise to any appropriate 3rd party professional organisations (such as solicitors & accountancy firms).
- Recommend, when appropriate, that you seek guidance from 3rd party professionals. When requested, we will introduce you to firms we believe to be competent to advise you*.
- Request the involvement of a colleague where we believe your circumstances require a Specialist Adviser to provide advice*.
- Ensure any recommendation we are to make reflects your 'appetite' for risk.
- Maintain records of the research completed on the files maintained in our offices.
*We will request your permission prior to doing this, and will maintain our contact with you, acting as a facilitator or Relationship Manager.
